MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Hi, I’m Carol McEwan—aka Community Carol.

I spent decades helping people connect—building teams, leading organizations, and scaling global Agile communities to over 450,000 members. Then I tried to retire—and failed. Repeatedly.

Without the rhythm of work, something was missing. I wasn’t alone—and there’s no “What to Expect When You Retire” book, so I turned my passion for connection into purpose—and created RALI: Retired and Loving It!

Question 1: What does "Retired and Loving It" really mean?

Retired and Loving It" means something different to everyone—and that’s exactly the point. At RALI, we believe this stage of life should be defined by you. Whether it’s travel, mentoring, learning something new, giving back, or simply slowing down and savoring your days, we’re here to help you live retirement on your terms—with support, community, and possibility every step of the way.

Question 2: Is RALI available outside the U.S.?

RALI is based in the U.S. and currently built with a North American audience in mind. While international members are welcome to join and explore, full support, features, or access to some services may vary by location as we continue to grow.

Question 3: When will I be able to access the RALI community?

Founding Members may gain immediate access to our Beta Platform, and no later than July 1st, 2025. Public launch begins October 1, 2025 at which time new members will have immediate access.

Question 4: What kinds of activities or programs can I expect?

Think workshops, mentorship, storytelling sessions, travel ideas, hobby groups, volunteer opportunities, real-world impact initiatives—and in-person gatherings where there’s a strong cluster of members in a local area. As the community grows, we’ll support more location-based meetups and events designed to bring the RALI experience offline and into your neighborhood, and maybe even globally.
